The third Evelyn Waugh Conference will be held at Downside Abbey and School in Somerset, England from 16th to 19th August 2011.
Sponsored by the Evelyn Waugh Society, the conference will include papers presented by experts and an excursion to Combe Florey, Evelyn Waugh’s last house, where he is buried.
Evelyn Waugh’s grandson, Alexander Waugh, will preside over the sessions. Alexander Waugh is well known as an author in his own right, and he is the editor of the Evelyn Waugh Edition, to be published by Oxford University Press.
